We recently had two new papers come out of our work in Utah on Sage-grouse. Melissa Chelak (PhD 2024 – Utah State University) recently published some long-term collaborative work examining the performance of GPS backpacks on sage-grouse. The paper is HERE.
Right around the same time, I was fortunate to push out a cool new study looking at the benefits of aspen to sage-grouse on Parker Mountain, Utah. You can read about it HERE.
